Where are you located?
HDB is based in King George, Virginia, traveling on site to your wedding location.
How do I reserve my wedding?
Please head to the contact page and fill out the inquiry form. After receiving your request, we will let you know if your date is still available and the quoted amount to travel to your location. This travel expense doubles as your deposit to reserve your date. This payment, along with a signed contract, is required to officially book Hello Darling Beauty.
When are bridal hair previews scheduled?
Bridal hair previews are held on select dates throughout the year in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Available preview dates are provided prior to booking, with appointments scheduled approximately 2–4 months before your wedding date.
To ensure a personalized experience, previews are available exclusively to booked Hello Darling brides and are not offered as individual appointments.
Do you offer makeup?
We do not offer makeup services, only hairstyling. However, if you would like some references we know many talented local artists.
Should I wash my hair?
If you do not tend to have oily roots, we recommend you wash your hair the night before your wedding. If you are worried about oils, wash it the morning of. If you are on the fence, go ahead and wash it in the morning and add a little mousse before blowdrying.
Do you have a second stylist?
Yes, a second stylist can be made available upon request or timeline requirements.
Can I schedule my bridal preview on a different date?
To provide a dedicated and thoughtfully organized experience, all bridal previews take place on our scheduled Bridal Preview Days. Individual preview appointments outside these dates are not available.
What if I don't know how many hairstyles I need?
At the time of your inquiry, just if it your best estimate. The only balance immediately due to book is your save the travel/travel expense per artist. We can figure out the exact numbers later.
Just keep in mind that our minimum service requirement is the Bride's style + 2 other styles.
How are travel fees calculated?
Travel fees are calculated at a rate of $50 per 30 minutes of travel time, based on the round-trip distance from King George, Virginia, to your wedding-day getting-ready location.
Travel fees are calculated separately from your bridal collection and will be included in your personalized proposal.
